Atomistic Simulations on the Shock Response of Nanoscale He Bubble in Metal

This report mainly introduces our recent research on the shock-induced collapse, migration and coalescence of He bubbles in metal based atomistic simulations. The bubble will be compressed to permanent deformation with finite plastic collapse metal. Under strong shock, can breakdown by nano-jet metal, but it returns a reduced sphere molten after long-time evolution, driven He-Al interface energy. Besides, is revealed, which divided into shock acceleration following inertial motion. Moreover, two modes caused ligament failure are simulated. Frenkel's model used analyze kinetics dominated deformation, smoothing sharp neck observed simulations discussed.
